The Securmax Slip clutch and slip hub
Infinitely adjustable and available for direct or indirect drives
The Securmax Slip clutch (for direct drives) and slip hub (for indirect drives) transmits the torque by friction. If the set torque is exceeded, the clutch or the respective transmission element slips in the slip hub and thus limits the torque to this set value. In general, these torque limiters are also referred to as load-holding safety clutches. A preload force is exerted on their friction linings via disc springs. The level of this spring force and thus the level of torque can be infinitely adjusted within the respective setting range using an adjusting nut or, in the case of larger models, using adjusting screws.

Slipping hubs DF and DFL for adjustable slipping torques up to 23.000 Nm
The DF series models with adjustable slipping torques up to 23.000 Nm are available in the product range and can be combined with pulleys, sprockets or chain wheels. An extended DFL version is also available for extra-wide drive elements.
Slip clutches for additional misalignment compensation
As a slip clutch, the Securmax Slip offers additional shaft misalignment compensation. It can be combined with various equalising couplings. Elastomer couplings with spiders in different Shore hardnesses (DF-GAS version) or particularly compact flexible couplings (DF-GEC version) are available for this purpose. The slipping clutch programme comprises 10 different sizes for an adjustable torque range from 1 to 8.000 Nm.
