The compact Securmax Slip DF-GEC slipping clutch
Safety combined with misalignment compensation in the tightest of spaces
The compact DF-GEC slipping clutch from the Securmax Slip series works with frictional engagement and slips in the event of an overload, limiting the torque to the set value. A preload force is exerted on the friction linings via disc springs. The torque level can be infinitely adjusted using an adjusting nut or, on larger models, using adjusting screws. As a unit together with the very compact GEC elastomer coupling, the slipping clutch also offers compensation for shaft misalignments, depending on the size of radial up to 0,6 mm, angular up to 1 ° and axial up to 0,8 mm. This series is available in 9 sizes for a range of adjustable torques from 1 to 8.000 Nm.
