The spring bar coupling Sliflex is available in aluminium or stainless steel and enables backlash-free and precise torque transmission in dynamic servo axes or for applications under difficult ambient conditions. Its radial slotted structure enables high torsional rigidity and effective universal misalignment compensation for non-aligned shafts. An innovative mechanical ‘rounding process’ at the respective start and end points of these slots minimises stress formation and thus maximises the service life even with permanently high misalignments. Made of lightweight aluminium, it is predestined for dynamic servo tasks and precise positioning tasks with frequent reversing operation. The stainless steel spring bar coupling is the choice for applications in corrosive atmospheres or with thermally critical ambient conditions. The Sliflex has a relief as standard. This allows the shafts to be connected inside the functional area to be positioned close to the face while retaining the full misalignment capacity of the coupling.
