Adjustable or preset slipping clutch for continuous slipping tasks
The Securmax Mini series of slipping clutches and slipping hubs can slip continuously or intermittently for more than 30 million cycles. Their mode of operation makes them ideal as continuous slip clutches for web tension control, i.e. for maintaining constant tension when winding and unwinding paper, wire or film, for torque control, e.g. in sealing machines, or for overload protection for people and equipment. They are available as a slip hub for combination with a belt pulley or gear wheel on the output side or as a slip clutch for shaft-to-shaft connection. Both versions are available with preset or adjustable torque.The Securmax Mini is also optionally available in four sizes as a pneumatic version.

Different preset and adjustable versions
A special finishing process ensures that all slip hubs and slip clutches have standardised performance characteristics ex works and do not require a running-in phase. The range includes the P and S versions for standard applications and the E version with minimised backlash for precision applications.
