Torqmax two-piece

The split, two-piece rigid coupling Torqmax MSPC, MSPX

Torqmax radially mountable: Ideal for stationary, non-displaceable shafts

In applications with stationary shafts where adjacent machine parts cannot be moved axially, the Torqmax split rigid coupling comes into its own. It enables radial assembly or disassembly without displacement of the neighbouring components. Thanks to its opposing screw arrangement, the two-part rigid coupling is balanced by design and therefore ensures optimised smooth running even at high speeds.

Product features

  • For shaft diameters from 3 to 50 mm
  • Materials: Burnished steel and stainless steel
  • Precisely honed bores
  • High-quality EN ISO 4762/DIN 912 12.9 screws with additional screw lock
  • Counter-rotating screw arrangement, therefore balanced by design

  • Available with and without groove
  • Heavy-duty version for shaft diameters from 55 to 120 mm and a torque range of up to 21,000 Nm in the programme

Absolute precision thanks to honed bores

The Torqmax has decisive quality features. Its bores are honed precisely in a final machining process. The Torqmax therefore guarantees the highest surface quality and the highest standards in terms of dimensional tolerance and dimensional accuracy.

Special screw locking ensures high torque transmission over the long term

The high-quality EN ISO 4762/DIN 912 12.9 screws are treated with a special Nypatch® process. In a 360° coating process, several threads of the hexagon socket head screws are coated with a complete nylon layer. This prevents any loosening of the screws caused by torsional vibrations and oscillations and ensures that the high clamping forces and torque transmission are permanently maintained.

Version for heavy-duty applications for shaft diameters up to 120 mm

The Torqmax Heavy Duty is the ideal coupling solution for heavy-duty applications with high torque requirements. It is available for shaft diameters from 55 mm to 120 mm and can be mounted radially thanks to its two-part design. It is designed as an MSPC version with a groove for additional positive locking. The heavy-duty version is made of steel, stainless steel versions are available as an option.
