The encoder shaft clamping collar Clampmax ENCL, ENSP
Slim profile and available in aluminium and stainless steel: The choice for hollow shaft encoders
Their slim profile and reduced weight are specially designed to meet the requirements of today's hollow shaft encoders. Each bore size offers different versions in terms of screw size and dimensions for exact adaptation to the respective encoder design. The Clampmax encoder is available in aluminium or, for corrosion-protected encoders, in stainless steel.
Product features
- For shaft diameters from 5 to 40 mm
- Material aluminium or stainless steel
- Dimensions can be adapted exactly to the respective hollow shaft profile of the encoder
- Different screw sizes and dimensions available for each bore diameter
Face-turned and high-quality screws for absolute precision and maximum holding forces
Clamping collars are used to secure components axially on shafts or as an axial stop. In order to offer optimum performance, our Clampmax clamping collar is characterised by special features. Special processes are used in the production of the clamping ring to optimise the benefits for the user. For example, the bore of the Clampmax is face-turned so that it is exactly at right angles to the face of the clamping ring. This is crucial when using clamping rings as bearing surfaces, as mechanical stops or for mounting other components. In combination with high-quality screws EN ISO 4762/DIN 912 12.9 (for aluminium versions) or stainless steel 18-8, stainless steel AISI 316 (for stainless steel versions), the Clampmax offers decisive and practical performance features.
