The Securmax Slip DF-GAS slipping clutch
Reliable overload protection combined with vibration damping and misalignment compensation
The Securmax Slip DF-GAS slipping clutch transmits the torque by friction. If the set torque is exceeded, the clutch slips and thus limits the torque to the set value. The overload torque is infinitely adjustable. Thanks to the combined elastomer coupling, the slipping clutch also offers angular, axial and radial shaft misalignment compensation. Depending on the application requirements, spiders are available in three different Shore hardnesses (98 Sh-A, 92 Sh-A or 64 Sh-D). This selection allows the damping behaviour of the DF-GAS to be precisely matched to the respective application.
