The double loop coupling Purflex
Highly flexible coupling enables outstanding shaft misalignment compensation
The Purflex is designed for applications with a particular focus on damping torsional vibrations or shock vibrations and above-average shaft misalignment compensation. This is made possible by a loop-shaped equalising element made of polyurethane.

Angular misalignment up to 12°, parallel up to 3 mm
The vibration-damping element offers flexural flexibility in any direction of misalignment in order to compensate for angular misalignment up to a maximum of 12° or parallel misalignment up to 3 mm, depending on the outer diameter of the coupling. Shaft bearing loads are also minimised by the elastic properties of the compensation element. The hubs with grub screw are made of galvanised steel. The centre element also offers good resistance to a wide range of media such as petrol, oil, benzene, glycols, solvents and various chemicals. Purflex work in a temperature range from -30°C to +80°C.
