Torqmax StepBore

The rigid coupling with stepped bores Torqmax GMC, ZMC

Torqmax StepBore: Connection of different shaft diameters

The version with stepped bores enables the backlash-free connection of shafts with different diameters. The compact ZMC version is also available for tight installation conditions. The Torqmax StepBore is made of aluminium and is also anodised to protect against corrosion.

Product features

  • For shaft diameters from 3 mm to 24 mm
  • Standard length or compact version
  • Anodised aluminium material
  • New: Steel and stainless steel version for shaft diameters from 4 mm to 30 mm

Available for shaft diameters from 3-24 mm

For each coupling size, a comprehensive range of bore diameters is available for these rigid couplings. Within this range, the user can select the matching coupling with stepped bore diameters to suit the shafts to be connected.

Stepped bores also available for the burnished steel and stainless steel versions

The two Torqmax series made of burnished steel and stainless steel now also offer an even more comprehensive range of products thanks to the recent addition of versions with stepped metric bores. This gives technical users a comprehensive selection of standardised products that are available for immediate delivery. These are available in both one-piece and two-piece versions - with or without keyway.

Frictionally connecting different shaft diameters with the GMT cone clamping coupling

The Torqmax GMT cone clamping coupling enables the friction-locked connection of a wide range of shaft diameters. The couplings are made from burnished steel and are available in an outer diameter range of 48 to 78 mm. These rigid shaft couplings offer a wide range of different bore diameters for each coupling size in order to connect even significantly stepped shaft diameters easily and precisely. A range of different bore diameters from 16 to 48 mm is available. Thanks to its design, the GMT can also be used in applications with high speeds.
