Robust, high-torque, and designed for extra-large shaft diameters: The Torqmax GRDH HeavyDuty is the ideal coupling solution for heavy-duty applications with high torque requirements. It is available for shaft diameters ranging from 55 mm to 120 mm and, thanks to its two-piece design, can be mounted radially. It features a keyway for an additional positive lock. The HeavyDuty version is made of steel; a stainless steel version is also available for special environmental conditions. StepBore variants for connecting different shaft diameters are also available upon request.

From mixing to crushing to forming: High torque is its specialty
The GRDH shell coupling in its heavy-duty version has a wide range of applications. These range from conveyor technology and the metal industry to sustainable processing technology and media-optimized agitators for industrial and process engineering. For example, these couplings are used in high-torque recycling and material processing plants. In these facilities, materials to be crushed are first mixed and coarsely processed through various process stages in a decompaction unit. They are then conveyed further by an eccentric screw conveyor and finally finely reduced to a defined consistency. Finally, they are converted into an optimized, transportable form by a compactor. They also support the efficient mixing process, for example, in the conversion of various organic raw materials for the production of biomethane.
