Backlash-free elastomer coupling enables damping of shock and torsional vibrations
The elastomer coupling Jawflex is torsionally flexible and able to effectively dampen vibrations and shocks. Thanks to its three-part design, it offers convenient axial plug-in installation. The elastomer insert is a spider made of Hytrel, which is mounted under slight, defined preload in the coupling halves with the concave-shaped receivers. This preload ensures that the Jawflex enables backlash-free torque transmission.
Jawflex ZJC and ZJS: The compact version for tight installation spaces
The series for axially tight installation spaces. It is up to 1/3 shorter than the standard series. The compact elastomer couplings are optionally available with clamping hubs or as a set screw version.
