The elastomer coupling Jawflex GJT
Backlash-free and with conical clamping hubs for high speeds and high frictional torques
The GJT series with conical clamping hubs is available for applications with frequent torque peaks and impact torques. The clamping system is equipped with internal screws. To achieve a low mass moment of inertia, the hubs and the cone system of the couplings are made of aluminium. Thanks to its symmetrical design, the Jawflex GJT offers high concentricity and is suitable for use in high speed ranges, for example in the main spindles of machine tools.

Backlash-free torque transmission, axially pluggable and spider made of thermally stable Hytrel
The elastomer coupling Jawflex GJT enables effective damping of vibrations and impact torques. Thanks to its three-part design, it offers convenient axial plug-in installation. The elastomer insert is a spider made of Hytrel, which is mounted under slight, defined preload in the coupling halves with the concave-shaped receivers. This preload ensures that the Jawflex enables backlash-free torque transmission.
