Reliable overload protection at high speeds
The DSS/SG/NF disengaging safety clutch has a degressive disc spring arrangement for an immediate torque drop. In the event of an overload, the input and output are immediately disengaged without residual torque. The stored rotational energy can run out freely and the disengaging safety clutch remains disengaged. Torque transmission starts when the clutch is manually re-engaged by hand or by means of a device. The DSS/SG/NF disengaging safety clutch is particularly suitable for applications with high speeds and in applications with high mass moments of inertia. The programme of backlash-free torque limiters is available for adjustable torque ranges up to 1.200 Nm.
