Reliable overload protection with immediate response time
To protect against possible product collisions, the Securmax Servo backlash-free overload clutch provides reliable overload protection in servo-driven drive trains. Thanks to its degressive spring characteristic, the safety clutch guarantees optimised switching times. At the slightest overload, the clutch disengages immediately, resulting in an immediate torque drop in milliseconds. The overload clutches can be supplied with an optional micro or proximity switch. This additional sensor system senses and detects the axial shifting movement during the immediate disengagement process, and its signal output ensures control and regulation of the system - i.e. the instantaneous disengagement process. The product range offers models with adjustable overload torques of up to 1.200 Nm.

The DSS/SG/N series is available for a torque range from 0.8 to 1,200 Nm. For the re-engagement process, you can choose between the synchronous clutch and ratchet clutch variants.
