The elastomer coupling Jawflex GJD
Backlash-free and vibration-damping
The elastomer coupling Jawflex is torsionally flexible and able to effectively dampen any vibrations and shocks that occur. Thanks to its three-part design, it offers convenient axial plug-in installation. The elastomer insert is a spider made of Hytrel, which is mounted under slight, defined preload in the coupling halves with the concave-shaped receivers. This preload ensures that the Jawflex enables backlash-free torque transmission.
Jawflex GJD: The radially mountable version for torques up to 600 Nm
With the GJD, versions with clamping hubs in a half-shell design are available. Equipped with these split clamping hubs, these Jawflex enable radial mounting without having to move adjacent machine components axially. The programme covers a range of nominal torques from 12 to 600 Nm. The Jawflex spiders are also available in Shore hardnesses 64D and 98A.
