The elastomer coupling Jawflex GJC and GJS
Backlash-free torque transmission and damping of shock and torsional vibrations
The elastomer coupling Jawflex is torsionally flexible and able to effectively dampen vibrations and shocks. Thanks to its three-part design, it offers convenient axial plug-in installation. The elastomer insert is a spider made of Hytrel, which is mounted under slight, defined preload in the coupling halves with the concave-shaped receivers. This preload ensures that the Jawflex enables backlash-free torque transmission.
Jawflex GJC and GJS: Nominal torques from 2 to 600 Nm
The standard series GJC (clamping hub design) and GJS (hubs with grub screw) are available in 10 coupling sizes and cover a range of nominal torques from 2 to 600 Nm. The Jawflex spiders are alternatively available in Shore hardnesses 64D and 98A. The programme offers a wide range of different bore diameters from 3 to 60 mm.
