Stainless steel precision coupling for special ambient conditions
High-temperature applications, applications under vacuum conditions or media influence - the Diskflex GDC series offers disc couplings with stainless steel hubs and stainless steel spacers for special ambient conditions. The couplings in this series have clamping hubs for backlash-free operation, even in reversing mode. The GDC series has a total of 11 coupling sizes with outer diameters from 19 to 94.5 mm and covers a range of nominal torques from 0.9 to 150 Nm. Potential areas of application for these stainless steel disc couplings include applications with increased thermal ambient conditions, vacuum technology, valve construction and systems in the paint, paper and textile industries.

Disc pack made of stainless steel
The multiple disc coupling Diskflex GDC-SS works with flat, flexible discs or disc packs consisting of individual discs made of stainless steel. These are bolted alternately to the respective hub and the intermediate piece. The design of the slat in the 4-bolt version is FEM-optimised and designed for high torsional rigidity and displacement capacity.
