The compact design for tight installation spaces
The cardan coupling Crossflex ZCC is ideal for applications with high requirements for radial and angular misalignment compensation, but where only axially limited installation spaces are available. It consists of two compact aluminium hubs and a centrally arranged joint cross, which simultaneously performs a swivel and sliding movement in the plain bearings when radial and angular misalignment occurs, thus ensuring high misalignment compensation.

Angular misalignment up to 3°, corrosion-protected aluminium hubs
The lightweight and short cardan coupling ZCC compensates for angular misalignments of up to 3° and radial misalignments of up to 0.5 mm. The steel pins are also nickel-plated to optimise the friction coefficients and sliding properties. The pairing of the nickel-plated pins and the plain bearings is selected and adapted in such a way that restoring forces and backlash are minimised. The compact aluminium clamping hubs are additionally anodised for increased corrosion protection.
