The Crossflex GCC cardan coupling is ideal for applications with high requirements for radial and angular misalignment compensation. The lightweight cardan coupling consists of two compact aluminium hubs and a centrally arranged joint cross, which simultaneously performs a swivel and sliding movement in the plain bearings when radial and angular misalignments occur, thus ensuring high misalignment compensation.

Angular misalignment up to 5°, corrosion-protected aluminium hubs

The cardan coupling of the GCC series is available in 5 sizes and compensates angular misalignments of up to 5° and radial misalignments of up to 0.5 mm. The pairing of the nickel-coated pins and the plain bearings is selected and adapted in such a way that restoring forces and backlash are minimised. The aluminium clamping hubs are additionally anodised for increased corrosion protection.
