The Beamflex Encoder PCMR/PSMR-A
Symbiosis of precision and low restoring forces – the formula for encoder applications
The Beamflex encoder gets its performance characteristics from 2 sets of double-start spiral cuts with precisely calculated rotating length of the spiral cuts. This design combines very low restoring forces for low bearing loads with torsional rigidity values tailored to encoder applications. It is available in 9 coupling sizes and covers a range of nominal torques from 0.02 to 7.68 Nm. The programme offers a wide range of different bore diameters from 1 to 12 mm.
Product features
- Backlash-free torque transmission
- Nominal torque range from 0.02 to 7.68 Nm
- Very low restoring forces
- Bore diameters from 1 to 12 mm
- Lightweight aluminium design
- Balanced clamping hub design
Lightweight and smooth-running
The clutches are made of high-strength aluminium to ensure a low mass moment of inertia. The hubs of the clamping hub version (PCMR) are also statically balanced for smooth running at high speeds. The set screw version (PSMR) offers fastening by means of set screws. The two miniaturised sizes 7 and 10 (outer diameter 6.5 and 9.5 mm) are available as partners for sensors in micro format.
