Clampmax stainless steel clamping collars

Clampmax stainless steel clamping collars

Operating principle

Clampmax stainless steel clamping collars are offered in a one-piece and split design in the 1.4305 and 1.4404 stainless steel grades with 3 to 80 mm bores. For optimised performance, bores are faced so as to be exactly orthogonal to the front side of the shaft collar. This is crucial when using shaft collars as storage areas, as a mechanical stop or to install other components. Along with high-quality, 18-8 grade stainless steel screws, Clampmax offers very high holding forces. In addition to one-piece shaft collars, the split versions ensure even more versatile and simpler installation. Thanks to the easy decomposability of the two-piece shaft collars, setup time, downtime and the resulting costs have been lowered. The two halves of the two-piece shaft collar remain connected during the entire manufacturing process so as to be perfectly matched.

Encapsulated version with FDA-compliant materials

The Wash Down Clampmax series meets the high hygienic requirements of the food industry. Made of stainless steel and additionally encapsulated, its smooth surfaces can be easily cleaned with high pressure. All the materials used are FDA compliant, and seals meet the IP69K protection test.
