Diskflex

Diskflex

Operating principle

The Diskflex works with flat, flexible discs made of stainless spring steel. For increasing outer diameters, these discs consist of disc packs made up of individual discs. These are mutually screwed together with their respective hub and spacer. The disc design is FEM optimised and designed for high torsional stiffness and displacement capacity.

Two series of stainless steel disc couplings are available

The GDC and the even more compactly built ZDC series operate with discs in a 4-bolt design. Force-fit clamping hubs ensure a backlash-free torque transmission even in the reverse mode.
